This piece is one of a series of drawings from around the garden at Tregonebris. In the equable climate of West Cornwall, Noel has developed a garden including many sub tropical species. He has now created a series of drawings from around his garden.

Noel Betowski was born in 1952 and trained at Central School of Art, London where he obtained a BA in Fine Art. He moved to Cornwall in 1987 to paint full time. He has exhibited nationally, in solo shows and group exhibitions at galleries including The Royal Academy and The National Portrait Gallery. He was a winner of the John Constable prize 1988.

His paintings are in a large number of private collections throughout the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
