Handwoven Lace Linen Scarf
This wispy summer narrow Linen scarf has been designed and handwoven by me in a huck lace structure with fine 100% linen yarn on my small floor loom in West Cornwall. The colours are inspired by the sea and coastline around our area. It is woven using a very light open structure, and this linen will soften with repeated washing. Once the scarf was removed from the loom, it was wet finished, that is washed and rinsed (as in the final photo above). All my pieces are on off designs.
Measurements: 179x18cm plus a twisted fringe.
Care: Handwash warm. Iron hot.
