Painting by Noel Betowski “Vessel” 2018 Acrylic on canvas. 36cm x 28cm. Unframed - the sides of the deep canvas are painted.
Noel was born in 1952 and trained at Central School of Art, London where he obtained a BA in Fine Art. He moved to Cornwall in 1987 to paint full time. He has exhibited widely, in solo shows and group exhibitions at galleries including The Royal Academy and The National Portrait Gallery. He was a winner of the John Constable prize in 1987 and 1988.
His paintings are in a large number of private collections throughout the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
